Privacy Policy

SavePorn ("we", "us", "our") operates the save.porn website and associated applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built SavePorn with privacy as a core principle: we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Service and keep your account secure.

1. What We Collect

We collect only the data required to operate the bookmarking service:

  • Email address: Provided at registration, used for authentication and transactional communications (login codes, account notifications).
  • Bookmarked URLs and metadata: The video URLs you save, along with associated metadata such as titles, thumbnails, and source website identifiers. This is the core data of the Service.
  • Account details: An optional display name, your language preference, and — only if you choose to link them — a Telegram or phone identifier.
  • Approximate region: A coarse, country-level signal derived from your connection, used only for security, fraud prevention, and showing you the right language. It is never a precise location and is not used to identify you.
  • Payment records: When you pay by cryptocurrency, we store the blockchain transaction hash to verify payment; we do not store wallet addresses or private keys. When you pay by card or bank transfer, your payment details are entered directly with our payment provider, CCBill — we receive only a transaction reference and confirmation, never your full card number or bank credentials.
  • Session tokens: A secure, randomly generated token used to maintain your authenticated session.

2. What We Don't Do

We want to be clear about the things we deliberately avoid:

  • No browsing history. We do not track the websites you visit outside of SavePorn.
  • No advertising. We do not serve ads, run ad networks, use cross-site tracking pixels, or sell or rent your data to anyone.
  • No precise location tracking. We may derive an approximate country from your connection for security and localization, but we never track or store your precise location.
  • No data brokers. We do not build advertising profiles and never share your data with data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes only:

  • Authentication: Your email and session token are used to securely log you in and keep you authenticated.
  • Providing the bookmarking service: Your bookmarked URLs and metadata are stored so you can access and manage your saved videos across devices.
  • Payment verification: Transaction hashes and payment-provider references are used to confirm that subscription payments were successfully processed, so we can activate or renew your plan.
  • Improving the Service: We use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used in aggregate (for example, which features are used) so we can improve it. This information is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not tied to your real-world identity.
  • Transactional emails: We may send you emails related to your account, such as login codes, subscription confirmations, or important service notices. We do not send marketing emails.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured infrastructure that we manage, in access-controlled databases. Communication between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit via TLS.

We employ the following security measures:

  • All sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies that cannot be accessed by client-side scripts.
  • Database access is restricted and requires authentication.
  • Authentication uses time-limited magic codes sent to your email — no passwords are stored.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a small number of cookies, all for essential functionality — never for advertising:

  • user_session — An httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookie containing your session token, used solely for authentication. Cannot be read by JavaScript.
  • admin_session — Set only for staff accounts that sign in to the admin area; serves the same authentication purpose there.
  • locale — Remembers your language choice so we can show the right language on your next visit. Set when you view a localized page.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not fingerprint your browser. Our analytics provider is configured not to set advertising cookies.

We also store a few preferences in your browser's local storage — theme, blur, and language — which stay on your device, are not sent to our servers as tracking data, and disappear when you clear your browser data. Local storage is not the same as cookies: it is never automatically attached to requests.

6. Third Parties

We work with a small set of processors, and share data with them only to the minimum extent necessary to operate the Service:

  • Email provider: A transactional email provider delivers account-related emails (login codes, subscription confirmations). Your email address is shared solely for this purpose and is not used for marketing.
  • Payment provider (CCBill): Card and bank payments are processed by CCBill, which handles your payment details directly as the payment provider for those transactions and is governed by CCBill's own privacy policy. We never receive or store your full card number or bank credentials.
  • Analytics (OpenPanel): We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to measure aggregate usage and interaction signals so we can improve the Service. It is not used for advertising, it does not track you across other websites, and it is not used to build advertising profiles.
  • Error monitoring (Sentry): We use an error-monitoring service to detect and fix technical faults. It receives diagnostic information about errors, with personal data disabled by default.
  • Hosting & infrastructure (Cloudflare): The Service runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which stores and delivers data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
  • Blockchain networks: Cryptocurrency payments are processed on the respective blockchain network (Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, or TON). Blockchain transactions are public by nature.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

7. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Inactive or lapsed accounts: We do not automatically delete your data when your subscription ends or you stop using the Service. Your library is kept so you can come back to it at any time, and you remain in control of when it is removed.
  • Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, your personal data (email, bookmarks, metadata, session tokens, and preferences) is removed from our active systems immediately, and the account can no longer be signed into or restored. To keep our financial and legal records consistent, we retain a minimal, anonymized record that is no longer linked to you.
  • Financial records: Payment and subscription records are kept where necessary for accounting, tax, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Because we are required to retain them, they are not erased when you delete your account; they are kept separate from your identity and no longer identify you in our systems. Card payment records held by CCBill are retained under CCBill's own policy.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: View all data associated with your account at any time through the Service.
  • Export: Request a copy of your bookmark data by contacting privacy@save.porn. (In-app one-click export is a Premium feature.)
  • Delete: Delete your account and associated personal data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; a minimal, anonymized record and required financial records may be retained as described in Data Retention.
  • Correction: Update your email address through account settings.

9. Children

SavePorn is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will immediately delete the account and all associated data. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact privacy@save.porn.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice in the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
