SavePorn ("we", "us", "our") operates the save.porn website and associated applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built SavePorn with privacy as a core principle — we collect the minimum data necessary to provide the Service and nothing more.

1. What We Collect

We collect only the data required to operate the bookmarking service:

  • Email address: Provided at registration, used for authentication and transactional communications (login codes, account notifications).
  • Bookmarked URLs and metadata: The video URLs you save, along with associated metadata such as titles, thumbnails, and source website identifiers. This is the core data of the Service.
  • Payment transaction hashes: When you pay via cryptocurrency, we store the blockchain transaction hash to verify payment. We do not store wallet addresses or private keys.
  • Session tokens: A secure, randomly generated token used to maintain your authenticated session.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicit about what we do not collect or store:

  • No browsing history. We do not track which websites you visit outside of SavePorn.
  • No IP address logging. We do not permanently log or store your IP address. IP addresses may be temporarily processed for rate limiting and abuse prevention, but are not retained.
  • No analytics or telemetry. We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other analytics service. We do not track page views, click events, or user journeys.
  • No third-party trackers. There are no tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or social media widgets on our site.
  • No advertising data. We do not serve ads, participate in ad networks, or share data with advertisers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes only:

  • Authentication: Your email and session token are used to securely log you in and keep you authenticated.
  • Providing the bookmarking service: Your bookmarked URLs and metadata are stored so you can access and manage your saved videos across devices.
  • Payment verification: Transaction hashes are used to confirm that subscription payments were successfully processed on the blockchain.
  • Transactional emails: We may send you emails related to your account, such as login codes, subscription confirmations, or important service notices. We do not send marketing emails.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our own servers in a secured database. Communication between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit via TLS.

We employ the following security measures:

  • All sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies that cannot be accessed by client-side scripts.
  • Database access is restricted and requires authentication.
  • Authentication uses time-limited magic codes sent to your email — no passwords are stored.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use exactly one cookie:

  • user_session — An httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookie. Contains your session token, used solely for authentication. Cannot be read by JavaScript. Only sent over HTTPS.

We do not use any tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or browser fingerprinting.

We also use your browser's local storage for two preferences (theme and blur), which are stored locally only, never sent to our servers, and cleared when all SavePorn tabs are closed. Local storage is not the same as cookies — it is never automatically sent with requests.

6. Third Parties

We share data with third parties only to the minimum extent necessary to operate the Service:

  • Email provider: We use a transactional email provider to deliver account-related emails (login codes, subscription confirmations). Your email address is shared solely for this purpose and is not used for marketing.
  • Blockchain networks: Payment transactions are processed on the respective blockchain network (Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, or TON). Blockchain transactions are public by nature.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

7. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, all associated data (email, bookmarks, metadata, session tokens) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • Payment records: Transaction hashes may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion for accounting and dispute resolution, then permanently deleted.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: View all data associated with your account at any time through the Service.
  • Export: Export your complete bookmark data in a standard format.
  • Delete: Delete your account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Correction: Update your email address through account settings.

9. Children

SavePorn is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will immediately delete the account and all associated data. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact [email protected].

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice in the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
